1 · Pillars, weights and scores

Weights show strategic importance (0–50% each, 100% in total). Scores show performance against your own threshold-to-stretch range: 0 is at or below the floor, 100 is at or beyond stretch.

2 · Pay structure

Illustrative figures for one executive. Defaults follow the ROP recommendation: 20% of STI and 15% of LTI.

How the numbers work

From indicators to payout.

01

Score each indicator

For each indicator, set a floor (scores 0) and a stretch level (scores 100) and interpolate. If a 4% emissions cut scores 0 and a 10% cut scores 100, a 7% cut scores 50.

02

Roll up to pillars

Each pillar score is the average of its three or four indicators. The ROP score is the weighted average of the pillars, using the weights the board has set and disclosed.

03

Apply the payout curve

Below 30 pays 0%; 30 pays 50%, 60 pays 100%, 85 or above pays 200% (capped), linear in between. Discretion can only reduce the result.
